Allumia is recruiting an intern with a passion for Energy Efficiency!

Partnering with utility companies, we fund, design, manage and maintain complete efficiency upgrades for our small to mid-size commercial and industrial customers.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
  - 
Physically managing Allumia’s metering, including inventory, assembly, maintenance, and documentation.
  Maintaining the operation of meters by providing quick meter service response, and coordinating with customers and contractors to repair meter equipment failures.
  - Providing feedback to Allumia’s software team on meter failure monitoring and meter inventory management. Updating the platform for service call record-keeping. 
  - Migrating historical information from Excel-based records to Allumia internal system to support portfolio-level maintenance and quality analysis.
  -Communicating daily with the Performance Engineering/Customer Success team about active issues.
  - Engage regularly in discussions about company processes and provide feedback to your manager and colleagues.
  - Do any number of other tasks—we are a small company where everyone pitches in
  - Position may evolve to include corresponding with customers, contractors, and manufacturers about active onsite issues with energy efficient equipment (i.e., failed lighting, HVAC (Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning), Refrigeration, EVSE (Electrical Vehicle Service Equipment) equipment, etc.), researching Allumia records about the installed equipment, proposing optimum solutions, and coordinating with Allumia’s service partners to complete the required service and repairs.

SALARY RANGE

$20 per hour

QUALIFICATIONS
  - 
Tenacious communicator, in both written and verbal form with little guidance
  - Analytical, with the ability to distill complex data sets into a concise story
  - Preferred: education or knowledge in Project management and contracts Management especially energy efficiency, preferably lighting and/or HVAC
  - BSc or 4 years' experience with background/knowledge in electrical engineering, construction, project management, applied math, programming, lighting, or related field
  - Solid analytical thinking chops, extremely comfortable with Excel and other data analysis tools
  - Data visualization, Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Visual Basic, etc. experience is preferred.
  - Actively work to improve the processes you use, and have done so successfully

Due to company Covid-19 safety practices, work will be a mix of remote and limited in-person hours at Allumia’s office.
