An HVAC upgrade for a convenience store chain is all about service. Each site packs a limited Energy Efficiency punch, and maintaining the system, often in distant locales, is the main challenge. For this client, facilities had been acquired over time, and there were multiple 'models', so normalizing the HVAC program to their different onsite conditions was a one headwind. Coordination with the existing HVAC service provider was a must, and our ability to cooperate with the existing providers that the client wanted to keep -- plus adding our own -- allowed for a fleetwide solution.
Allumia’s metered and flexible service model was an attractive, data-driven solution that just made sense. With no capital cost, the project was a no-brainer from the starts, as the client got to use its own resources to work on other capital improvements.
