425 pontius is a commercial building in Seattle, Washington. While looking for new ways to reduce their energy usage, property manager Stephen C. Grey & Associates turned their eye to their facilities lighting after hearing about Allumia’s Efficiency-as-a-Service program.
425 Pontius was able to upgrade to LED lighting at no upfront cost, while investing their own capital back into other building improvements. With the added lifetime of LED lighting and the maintenance provisions of EaaS, not only is 425 Pontius saving on their electrical bill, but the decrease in frequency of lamp replacement means each maintenance tech needs to spend less time on lighting and more time on more-complex, more-expensive pieces of equipment. Problem solved.
